Where We Started, Where We Are: Apologetics Ark in 2026
It Started With a Website
In January of 2026, Apologetics Ark was a website with one goal. I wanted to build a hub of recommended apologetics resources. A place a Christian could land and find the good books, the solid teachers, the trustworthy answers, all in one spot instead of scattered across the internet.
That was the whole idea. Point people to the people who already knew what they were doing. It was that way for a couple of months.
However, the more I studied what was worth recommending, the more I ran into the same thing. There was good material out there, but a lot of it was written for people who already knew the vocabulary. A new believer who just got asked a hard question at work does not need a seminary textbook. He needs a straight answer he can actually give, and he needs to know where it comes from in Scripture.
So the site stopped being a list of other people's resources and started becoming a place where I teach what I study. I will not put something in front of you that I could not defend with an open Bible. Every article gets checked against Scripture before it goes live. Some of these topics I am still learning, and I would rather tell you that than pretend otherwise. If I get something wrong, tell me. I want to fix it.
The goal with Apologetics Ark had changed at this point. It is not a directory anymore. It started turning into a training ground. I wanted to help Christians become the best apologist they can be for the Gospel. Not to win arguments, but to win people. To be ready, the way Peter says to be ready, with an answer and with gentleness and respect. 1 Peter 3:15
What Happened Next
I began working on the app in April 2026 to make the resources more convenient for Christians. Answers in your pocket.
On May 22nd, Apple approved us. That is when the Early Adopters were born. Everyone who installed on iOS or joined the Google Play beta in those early weeks got Premium for life, because they helped get the app ready for what I considered the true launch.
On June 16, that launch happened. The app went live on the App Store and Google Play. Praise God, Google Play only rejected us three times...
Here is where things stand today.
Bible Explained & Apologetic Articles
204 articles are published. Of those, 165 are verse-by-verse chapter breakdowns covering 17 complete books of the Bible.
Old Testament: Genesis, Exodus, Ruth, Joel, Jonah, Obadiah, Habakkuk, Haggai
New Testament: Colossians, 1 Thessalonians, 2 Thessalonians, Titus, Philemon, Hebrews, James, Jude, Revelation
Genesis and Exodus are finished. All 90 chapters. Revelation is finished, all 22. (These took a lot of time.)
Five more books are being drafted and coming soon: Galatians, Philippians, 1 Timothy, 2 Timothy, and Malachi.
The other 39 articles are the apologetics work. Comparisons with Islam, Mormonism, the Jehovah's Witnesses, Hinduism, Buddhism, Judaism, and atheism. My personal favorite Tough Questions Christians actually get asked, about alcohol, abortion, homosexuality, apparent contradictions, the Trinity, and the “lost gospels”. False teaching examined using its own sources first, before Scripture is ever cited, so nobody can say the case was rigged. And Bible stories written for children, because the little ones need to learn about Jesus as early as they can. Parents, read Proverbs 22:6.
The App's Current State
Version 3.0.0 is live on both stores.
You can read the Bible in five translations, including the NKJV (ESV is on the Horizon). A Verse of the Day arrives every morning. You can highlight verses, save favorites, and track what you have read. There is an Armory of apologetics cards for training, and a Tough Bible Questions section for the ones that keep people up at night.
Accounts came in July. I recommend every Premium user make an account. That means your highlights, your favorites, and your reading history follow you now instead of living on one phone.
At the time of this writing, more than 750 people across 53 countries have downloaded and used the app, and more than 400 of them were active in the last month. August was the biggest month we have ever had, by a wide margin. That is God moving. Praise to Him!
A Few Honest Things
I am not a professional developer. I am a normal Christian with a passion for apologetics who learned, and is still learning, to build this because I want this ministry to give Christians a trustworthy and reliable Apologetic “Ark” of resources.
Nothing ships until it has been reviewed and tested, and I test it myself before it goes live. (Sometimes I might miss something, so if you see something please submit a ticket in the My Ark section of the App.)
The vast majority of this has been built during late nights and weekends, around a family of five, a full-time job, and Bible study classes.
And the content here is settled before you ever see it. When you open an article, you are not getting an answer improvised on the spot. It was written, checked against Scripture, read back against the hardest objections I could find, and approved before it published. That is on purpose. Your Bible study deserves content you can trust. Which is why the app is very much still under construction.
To Those Who Support This Ministry
Apologetics Ark is a fully operational ministry. The website, the app, the store, and my teachings are all different branches with one unified goal: glorifying God by equipping Christians. When you subscribe to Premium or order from the store, you are buying something real, and you are also keeping this ministry running. Servers, Bible translation licenses, developer accounts, and everything else it takes to keep this going are not cheap. If that is you, thank you. You are a big reason this stays online and stays free for the people who cannot pay for it. Seriously thank you.
What Is Next
Apologetic/Bible reading plans. A prayer journal. Offline reading. (Praying for Audio Bibles, this is expensive.) And more books, chapter by chapter, until the whole Bible Explained is complete.
I posted the full road map in a previous post on Facebook and Instagram.
(Facebook: Apologetics Ark) (Instagram: @apologetics_ark).
Everything on that list I am trying to either complete or begin before the end of this year.
Lord willing, I will give you another update at the end of the year on how God has continued to move.
Thank you for trusting Apologetics Ark to become a resource for you. Thank you for the feedback, which I read all of. If this ministry has helped you know God's Word better, or helped you answer someone honestly when they asked, that is the whole point. Give glory to God for it. This whole thing was His idea.
Win People, Not Arguments.
